Back in 2016, Transport Canada tasked KPMG with analysing the airport system of southern Ontario to the year 2036. An up-to-date study was said to be needed to decide when airport capacity constraints would necessitate a Pickering airport. KPMG’s findings were submitted in sections, over 3 years.
